1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Ondio mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is developed and operated by Keisuke Yamashita ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

Ondio is an AI-powered RSS reader that transforms your news feeds into a radio-like listening experience. The App provides:

• RSS and Atom feed aggregation and management
• AI-powered article summarization using third-party services
• Text-to-speech narration with DJ-style presentation
• Background audio playback with media controls
• Personalized content recommendations

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited features, including up to 5 RSS feed subscriptions and 5 audio summaries per day.

4.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions unlock unlimited feeds and audio summaries. Subscriptions are billed at $4.99/month or $39.99/year and are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

4.3 Billing

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
• Use the App to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Keisuke Yamashita and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

RSS feed content accessed through the App remains the property of the respective content owners. Ondio does not claim ownership of any third-party content. AI-generated summaries are derived from this content for your personal use.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services for core functionality, including but not limited to Anthropic (Claude AI for text summarization) and OpenAI (text-to-speech). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

AI-generated summaries are produced algorithmically and may not always be perfectly accurate. You should not rely solely on AI summaries for critical information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and contacting us to request account deletion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
